clutch problems

Metal expands when it is hot and there are multiple metal plates in your clutch, which may explain the drag. Check your cable adjustment for your clutch. You should be able to correct for the problem there. The other thing is old, high-mileage oil can make for hard shifts as well, with a simple oil change fixing the issue.
