carburetor rebuild

I have let my bike sit for 5 weeks due to an injury and forgot to shut off the gas valve and run the carbs dry. well now I have 3 carbs dripping gas and gas running out overflow tubes while running the bike. Is there any videos out there showing how to properly rebuild the carbs?

Before ya do that. Try fresh gas with plenty of Sea Foam added . Open the bowl drains to get sea foam into carbs let in sit tap on the bowls with butt end of screwdriver

if your carbs are leaking after five weeks of sitting still, you need to take care of them. Sea foam aint gonna help you now.

check your fuel petcock, fuel pump and lines as well. Whens the last time your changed your filter?

five weeks should not cause the problem your having..in that time the bowls will dry out, any sediment in the bowls will stick to the floats holding them down......did you drain the bowls did anything come out,,,,....the needle valve in the float bowl is the only other thing that would cause the flooding.
Drain the carbs ..get two cans of carb cleaner, pull main fuel line ..close bowl drains...spray cleaner down fuel line until it stops flowing...let it soak for a hour...drain bowls, hook up the fuel lines and try again..
