Brake fluid stains on swing arm

Bought an FZ1 this week. Black paint on swing arm is stained — probably from a nasty solvent. Would welcome any suggestions on how I can cover up the stain. Maybe with adhesive vinyl or spray paint. Don’t want to remove the swing arm for a repaint or powder coating. Thanks

will rubbing alcohol not clean it up?

You might try some vinyl wrap or Mountain Bike Frame Protector tape.
