Awd / 2wd r1

Yamaha/Ohlins have been working on a 2WD motorcycle for years. I wonder if they will ever make it available for the public.
 
Very intriguing technology. Random thoughts on it:

  • So does this mean if you hit the front brake while doing a wheelie you'll drop the front tire?
  • Burnouts won't be possible.
  • What about front tire wear? Wider front tire for better traction, but then it wouldn't turn well.
  • Less chance to break the rear loose coming out of the corner, but if you break both tires loose... :doh2: Much to think about.
