Where is my o2 sensor ??

On my "08" the O2 sensor is on the exhaust collector just about where the pivot point is for the sidestand. You can't miss it. Now, the part I'm not sure about is when you remove it, what you are supposed to do with the connection to the computer, and what it does without a signal from the sensor. I'm sure it's not just as easy as taking it off and forgetting the rest. On the MIVV site I noticed they have some maps that mention using an O2 eliminator but I didn't see one for sale, just a part number. Before I removed the thing I'd be sure what exactly I needed to replace it. Maybe someone else on here has done it.
