I got my wife this model of phone because she tends to be a bit hard on cell phones, and I got tired of buying a new one every 4 months... she's had this one for almost two years now and it's gone down 4 flights of concrete steps, been dropped in parking lots in at least 5 states, gone in the lake twice in a weekend, went through a cycle in the washer, and been left on the roof of the car through a series of thunderstorms.... and it's still working just fine.
