Your best bet is to upload them to photobucket and use the online editing tool to re-size the pics, or get an image editing program for your computer and use that to edit them down before you upload.
 
If you don't want to mess with any software, imageshack.us has an option to specify image size, as you upload it. I've been using it for several years for hosting with good results.
