Today Only - Michelin Power Pure for $80

Not my tire of choice, but I noticed that today's Motorcycle Superstore deal of the day is a 180/55-17 Michelin Power Pure rear tire for $79.99.

Some of you might use it, and that seems like a very attractive price.

At that price it's probably worth trying it out if you need a rear tire.

an 180 tire on a Gen2 6" rim would stretch and have an even more flatter profile with crappier handling .. The Gen2 really needs a 190/55

if you absolutely "need" a rear tire, buy it but it's a poop tire as far as quality is concerned. but you can run a 180 just fine.

I almost pulled the trigger for the VFR but I figure it's actually not cost effective to get a $90 (CAD) trackday tire that'll get 8000 km when a $150 sport touring can manage 20,000 (maybe)
