slip on exhaust 07 question

I just got this bike (07) and was thinking about doing a slip on exhaust. I know this bike has that ezup exhaust valve thing, if I remove that for a slip on will I loose low end power? I am not a 100% sure what the thing does but I thought I read a while back it suppoed to give it more low end or something. I love the roll on power starting at like 3000 rpms this bike has compared to my 600. I was looking at a carbon delkevic on ebay. I know its probably not the best but the price is good if I dont like it

The valve does literally nothing .. Its supposed to be there for noise control ..
You can remove the can & cables but will need to leave the servo motor under the seat &:connected to the 12v supply or get a servo eliminator , it wont affect power ,, I run the std can with out it connected for ease of swapping it out
 
ok thanks guys. I been on this thing all day and really digging it. I think I gonna keep the fz6 for my girl. She is actually pretty good on it now.
