Remove Bar and Risers

I am thinking about removing my handlebar and risers to paint them. I can't tell just from staring at it (which I have been doing for most of the day) if removing the throttle assmebly is a nightmare. Also, when the risers come out, do the rubber dampers stay in the triple, or are they stuck to the risers?

Don't sweat the throttle.

Remove the bar ends
Remove the clutch side handle grip
Loosen clutch perch
Loosen throttle assembly
Remove front brake master cylinder

Now remove the 4 bar clamp bolts and top clamp.

With everything loose, you should be able to create enough slack to get everything off the bars. Removing the clutch lever and freeing the cable from the perch makes it even easier.

Now Get-er-done.
