rear shock upgrade

I have the Penske and I like it. It's pricey but worth it! There are other options out there. I am sure some people will chime in with some other options!

There is also a cheaper R6 upgrade on the other forum and the guy doing it is totally a standup guy.

If you really dont mind spending a buck for the best try these BUT make sure you have a very good suspension specialist to sort it out for you.

I have always read good things about wilbers but I don't think I have ever seen them in person. I am sure it would do just as well as the Penske,Hyper Pro, Ohlins, or what ever you can get. I have to agree about getting someone who knows what their doing for the set up. Traxxion wasn't cheap but I have no complaints about the results!

I love my Penske 8983.... but I had a buddy just do the R6 shock on the back of his 03... and I've gotta say... it ain't bad.

The funny thing about that is --- the R6 guys are probably throwing that shock away as crap.

They need to see the stock shock that came off my bike...
