Rear ended

The lady 2 cars back is pregnant and had to be cut out of the car.

The rider kept his helmet cam running and there is a second video/timelapse showing the roof being cut off her car.
 
Geez Louise!! He's a lucky guy. That could have been much worse. Here in NY on the parkways, whenever there's a stoppage like that I pull to the right of the car in front cause I don't trust the drivers behind me. Glad he made it out okay and hopefully the lady and her baby are okay as well. I will say however, that I have to hand it to that rider. He was very pleasant considering the circumstances. My hats off to him for keeping his cool.

This is the prime reason why Lanesplitting should be allowed in every state in the US. If he had slowed down and then rode between the cars he never would have been hit.

That is one intense video.
