Patriot Guard Riders

Does anyone ride with the Patriot Guard Riders? I've signed on to go on escort rides but haven't been on one yet. I think what they're doing is great. I haven't been in the military for a long time but we work with some of the Army troops (the EOD guys) at Ft Carson and they are unbelievable. Some have been to Iraq or Afganistan two or three times and never bitch or whine about it. If you're in the service I just want to thank you for the sacrifices you and your family make. Having been there I know what it was like and we had it easy back then compared to what you guys go through.

I just got back from my first mission. It was emotionally draining. It was for PFC Thomas James Michalski. I didn't get details unfortunately. One of the riders lost his son in November. It was not a fun ride but definitely something that needs to be done. I was going to write more on it but all I feel I can say is God bless PFC Michalski, his family and everyone else serving in the military.
