I just bought a new 2014 FZ1 and I am new to the FZ1 Forums. My current bikes are a 2004 Honda RC51 Hayden Edition, 1997 TL1000S, 2009 Yamaha Midnight Warrior and now the FZ1. I am really enjoying the Forum!

I like the FZ1 inline 4 it reminds me a lot of my 1989 Suzuki GSXR750 short stroke which had no serious power until about 9000rpm. To be honest I prefer the v twin torque over the inline 4.

The RC51 and the TL are my pride and joy and are life long keepers! The RC51 and the TL really belongs in the house but the wife will not let me move the RC51 or TL into the house at this time.

How is the motor in the Zook TL?

The Tl1000S is an absolute beast from 3000rpm to 6000 rpm and hits hard again from 6000 all the way to redline. The TL wheelies with just rolling on the throttle in first gear. I shaved off 25lbs off the TL from 470 to 445.
