My 2009 FZ1N

Got a fair bit done today. Fitted all my powerbronze stuff. Lower chin fairing, radiator covers, Side carbon bits, rear carbon bit (that still doesn't sit quite right), Also got a Yamaha comfort seat and the rear seat cowl.

Now to get the tires fitted.

Had it out for its first good ride today with new tires. Took it fairly easy. Also fitted a clear tail light that I forgot to get a pic of.

Well done on the find, the recovery and the mods!

I'd definitely get the Ivan tune but then take it back and have the bike dyno'd to get a custom map with a correct AFR throughout all gears. You'll get an even performance with the best mpg, not that these bikes are noted for being conservative on fuel!

Nice video Lupin.
Improving the power is easy on these bikes.
If you want to keep your muffler then look at a set of Arrow headers, this will give mainly top end gains.
If you want ride-ability and to improve the midrange power of the bike then look at a full Yoshi system.
Ivan's ECU flash is great and there are other cheaper options like Vcycle.

I won't be getting a Ivan tune for the simple fact I don't want to be without the bike why the ECU is away.

I have been looking at some headers but still not sure on what to get.

Its all about the cost for benefit now. $3-400 headers or ECU flash for a few HP. Not sure its worth it in the end.

If I still have the bike in 12 months I will do it.

I think you'll find headers are $500+ these days.

ECUWEST in WA are supposed to be good for flashes. He also includes fueling changes so in theory there's no need for a PCV.

I've been fairly lazy posing anything here, so I guess it time for a little catchup.

Decent intro with the bike

I'm still quite liking riding this thing. I have had ideas about getting something else, but nothing really seems to fit my needs and budget at the moment.
