KTM at the Sacramento Mile

Last Saturday night my wife and I went to the Sacramento Mile at the Ca. State Fair. This was my first time at a mile flat track race, wow what fun. These boys and 1 girl were haulin' arse and the drafting was incredible.

Here's the 600 singles lined up. The first bike on the right is Shayna Texter from Grapevine, Tx. She won the qualifier and the main! This girl can ride, hats off to her.

Here's the 990 and a 950 from the twin class. Neither won but it was great to see KTM racing. These guys drove 43 hours straight from New York State just to be here and were driving straight home after the races.

Hey Dustin, did I pick a good night to wear my new shirt?

That is awesome !!!!
I love these lower level races every bit as much as the world class racing because these guys (and girls) do it because they love it. Imagine driving 43 hrs to race and going back home to work a normal week. That is just incredible.
