I came across the following link on just how the O2 sensor reads the oxygen content in the exhaust then sends the signal to the PCM. Although I have disconnected mine per the PCIII instructions, I have installed a Bosch sensor and a meter so I can keep an eye on my ratios. I have also leaned up the map that came with my PCIII because it was running in the 10 to 1 range in a lot of the middle range. I think it would be a good idea for everyone to read this if for no other reason than to get a good understanding of why the O2 sensor is there in the first place.
