My friend is an avid downhill MTB rider and he just started up his own YouTube channel with a really cool POV style. He's going to post videos of all the different trails and racing events around BC and other places. The videos are really cool as they are shot with a sweet stabilizer for a GoPro and in 4K quality. Pretty impressive.

That is rad. I tested out a Gimble for my GoPro on my MTB a while back. It had a huge battery pack and I could not get a good mounting point, but they have become smaller... I would love to get one, the Gimble makes a huge difference in video quality.

Well, I was going to save it as a surprise until I mounted and used it but what the heck! This is what I'll be rocking this season on my FZ-1 Onboard Vids, along with my new Hero 4 Black Edition........

Preliminary testing looks great so far. Should be interesting to use.

How cool is that?! Looking forward to seeing your videos!

I first saw this gimbal back at the 2014 NYC Photo Expo Show. The WenPod people had a prototype on the counter and I was amazed at how small and effective it was. It just wasn't available yet to the public. I stayed on their mailing list and as soon as it was in production they emailed me. I waited for the price to drop a little before pulling the trigger. I have to say it does work very well. The motion is very fluid, perfectly silent, and that thing stays on a level plane no matter who fast you turn it.

Bring it back from the dead.

I picked up a device called the Mac-Ride so I can take my kids Mountain Biking with me. My son out grew it, but my daughter is loving it.
