Finally...another bike for DenArnold

Cool bike! I'm sure you're going to have a lot of fun on it.

If you plan on off roading you may want to consider a rear bag mounting system.

When I crashed yesterday my Trax system worked as roll bar protecting the back half of the bikw.

the new bike is ready for collection this Saturday. Can't wait!
Feeling like a small kid again getting a new toy :thewave:

Well its true, no matter what age we boys are, we're always happy with a new toy (not saying that girls are not happy either when they get a new boy...euh toy )

A Triumph Tiger 800XC and following options are on order

Paddock stand bobbins
Crashbars
GPS mount
Engine case covers
LED indicators
Adventure tankbag + harnas

On the list is a Touratech topcase and forkprotectors

The Adventure tankbag/harnas I have replaced with a Bagster tankcover, so and the tank is protected and I can re-use my current FZ1 used Bagster tankbag. So simply swap it over and no need to unload the content each time :p

ordered some more goodies:
R&G front and rear axle sliders
R&G Exhaust cover protection
R&G Frame inserts
Touratech crashbar (to protect the side fairings)
and endulged me in a new Bagster tankbag altogether
Insurance and license plate are on order, so still need to have some patience before I can take my new Black Tigres out on the road :p

My plate took 3 weeks to arrive

I should have gone to Alken to pick it up...

just received my insurance papers and license plate, so ready to roll the beast out the garage this weekend

Must have been a personalized one? I entered my inscription paper this monday with my Insurance cy and received papers and plate yesterday. Now since recent we can only order license plates online via DIV, that may have speed things up.

see attached. I can't find this option on the UK Triumph pages

I have been chasing the dealer, as these engine covers were still not delivered. After some calls, the dealer agreed to check with Triumph, who then finally answered these engine covers are NOT for the Tiger but for the Street Triple, so the link on the accessory page connecting this with the Tiger is incorrect.
I'll be getting a refund in full!

In the mean time I've ordered and received some additional protection goodies:
frame protections bars from Touratech (will be mounted end this week)
axle front and rear sliders from R&G
exhaust protection from R&G

That is the bike I considered getting instead of the FZ1. I did not want to pay double what I paid for my FZ to a dealer though. I could not find the 800xc anywhere close to mean.

I have heard nothing but good things about them.
