Hi Guys.

I'm a new member to the Forum and I'm looking for some info.

What do you guys do with the EXUP valve drive and cables after fitting an aftermarket can.

Cheers guys

I'm assuming you have a GenII bike. Most often the guys will just disconnect the cables from the valve end as well as the servo side and just leave them in place. This way the servo is still operating but not controlling the cables. This way you won't get any error codes. Some guys remove the cables altogether and leave everything else in place. Just leave the servo operating in either case.

If not using an EXUP eliminator then just disconnect the cables from the servo and remove them. If you ever want to install the stock exhaust again they are easy enough to reinstall. Just remember to leave the servo motor connected to the wire harness so that you don't get an error code.
