Exup valve operation

When you first turn your bike o. Does the exup valve cycle or not . I know when I start it it does move. I do seem to remember that when I turned the key on it would cycle but now it doesn't. ???

If the cables are binded or adjusted incorrectly you will get an error code on the meter/cluster and notice the bike running differently. I do not have the factory manual in front of me at the moment. If you cannot get the proper info PM me and ill send you the proper instructions on how to check the valve. When was the last time you serviced the EXUP valve?
