engine trouble warning light

My 07 FZ1 was scheduled for oil change, air filter change, and spark plugs. After doing these things my engine light came on and stayed on. I stopped and started the bike a few times and it came on each time. Anyone know why or have any ideas?

I'd place my bets on a disconnected sensor wire somewhere. If you disconnected any wiring, go back and make sure you reconnected them properly. If you didn't, go back over your proceedure and check all connections in your path. you may have inadverently disconected something.
 
Probably when you lifted the tank to remove and replace the air filter. Possibly the temperature sensor going into the airbox.

Question is why would you need to change the air filter already except to put in a K&N or other aftermarket filter?
