Easy Gen 1 Carb Float height adjustment tool

I've seen a few questions over the years about how to check float bowl heights.. When I had my Gen 1 and did my Holeshot jet kit, I made this template. One of the FZ1OA guys shared something like this and I drew it up. Drawing attached. This one is set up to check for a float height of 13mm, per my Holeshot instructions. If you need a different height, for a different kit, adjust the 13mm dimension accordingly.

To make one of these, you take a 3x5 index card and VERY carefully mark it up, and cut it with a razor, to try and keep it as accurate as possible...

Thanks, I was going to say too late, as I cleaned the carbs this summer, but in reality it's never too late for carb tools as Im sure I'll be in there again

You're welcome! I dug this up after I got some recent questions. By the way, the 77mm dimension isn't critical. It's the width of a 3x5 card. The rest of the measurements are what matters. I jetted a couple of Gen 1 bikes using this, and it helped a lot.
