Ear plugs I am liking

I have these and they work really well just becareful around anything that is getting up over 110 dbs. They don't block everything out.

I use foamies every day and the box lists them as a 29dB NRR (noise reduction rating), but these Sonic Defenders are only 24dB--what gives?

I don't quite understand how the NRR system works but it seems strange that the more expensive ones would reduce noise less.

I have tried foam plugs before and still have some, they don't work very well for me.

I have tried these silicone moldable ones:

The Surefire EarPro EP4 Sonic Defenders Plus Earplugs are working for me way better than anything else I have tried.

It's probably based on ear canal shape or something but the other options I tried left me looking to try something else.
