DR402 BELLY PAN gen1 FZ1 installation

I have had a few questions about installing this pretty cheap belly pan that doesn't come with mounting hardware or pre drilled holes. I changed my oil today and had it off so I figured I would make a short write up. When I received the belly pan I was impressed with the thickness of the fiberglass, and the Kevlar reinforced mounting points. I ordered it off eBay with a universal mounting kit sold by the seller. There are still some on eBay at the moment.
Here is the hardware you need. The shorter screws are the lower screws from the rear frame cover and fit into the universal front brackets

The longer screws, rubber washers, nylon spacers, and metal washers are used for the rear mounting point. All can be purchased at your local hardware store. The nylon spacers will need to be trimmed down to fit the gap between the fairing and cover hole

The front mounting bracket comes like this, but much longer. You will have to mark out the spot to drill the mounting hole for your engine mount bolt. I will not provide measurements since each bike and fitment will be slightly different.

There are indentations in the belly pan mold so you have an idea as to where to drill the four mounting holes.

I mounted mine as close as possible to my headers since my bike I lowered. The collector began to head the fiberglass and I could smell it burning. So my solution was to trim the center and make a rear brace.

Here is the finished. It has been holding up very well, no cracks after two long seasons of riding. Here is a link to their website DR402 BELLY PAN YAMAHA FAZER 1000 - Ricambi-Weiss Motorradteile
I hope this helps some one. Thanks for reading.
