My new ContourHD 1080p camera turned up this week and I was itching to give it a try and see how well it performed.
As I've been working all week, I didn't have much choice but to set it up to use on my commute to work! The camera was mounted to the side radiator panel with the flat surface mount that came with the camera.
The mount wasn't as solid as I would've liked so there is some vibration in the video. Hopefully with a more solid mounting, i'll be able to get even better footage.

Quality looks very good. I am impressed.

Pints and bike night? I have to go! :D

Looks good but at full 1080p it seems to be both vibration and jitter. the 720p, if you can solve the vibration, looks GREAT!

Let me know nearer the time when you're here and we'll arrange something!

The jitter seems to be a problem but at 720p I can record at 60fps where the 1080p is only available at 30fps so the lower resolution should have a smoother picture.

Very cool Rusty ...Like it!

Great quality video! I wish I could safely lane split like that around here. Some redneck in a truck or soccer mom in an SUV would run over me in a matter of minutes if I tried to lane split!
