I met this nice guy selling his single-owner 2007 FZ1. 20K kms and decently maintained. Everything checks out except for a small issue.
I took the bike on a test drive for about 20 mins or so and when i brought it back, we noticed a bright yellow discharge from the left ignition coil. It was almost like paint and then as it cooled, it turned powdery. No smell at all.... What could this be?
A few days later the owner says that it doesn't appear anymore and nothing to worry about. Could this be anything serious? A busted ignition coild may be? He also says it could be because the bike was sitting for a while... I can find out after the purchase i guess.... Attached is a pic.
Any thoughts or opinion will be very helpful before my purchase. Thanks.
