Bought the Edge Duo a few years ago but the wife gave up riding just about that same time. Was never happy with the actual performance related to answering calls. It only worked occasionally. I don’t ride in groups so that’s really my only use for it.
The other negative was the amount of time it added to my pre-ride times, making sure it’s charged and connected to phone. So I haven’t had one installed on my helmet in a few years and I’m more than happy about that.
My new problem is I have a elderly family memeber that lives alone and I need a way to screen the various rehab, home health workers that will show up. I’m looking at both Ring and Blink cameras thinking that while riding, I would get an alert that someone was at the door, I’d be able to speak with them if the relative didn’t come to the door. I think the relative and I would both get alerts or a chime when the door bell is pushed if app is on both phones.
Anyone have experience with security doorbells and accessing them while on the go?
