I just happened across an eBay auction with an 'Or Best Offer' option for a set of Avon VP2 Supersport tires in 120/180. I made a low offer of $172 for the pair and got 'em. I had a $10 credit on my PayPal account so that makes the set $162.
Now the question is, are they any good? Reviews seemed very positive indeed when they first came out.
I suspect that my ride to Texas will spell the end of my current BT-023 and it will be nice to have something waiting for me when I get home. I will be heading straight into the warmer months and a nice set of supersport rubber would be great!
