This thought just crossed my mind. Are there any other motorcycles that have extremely useful online support communities like we have for the FZ1? Pat's site and FZ1OA are what got me into the FZ1, convincing me how reliable they are and showing me how to do basically every maintenance item and modification. I got a new Gen I last year and still referenced Pat's FZ1 site for a bunch of maintenance that I had to do. Even now almost 25 years after these bikes were first made I can come to this forum and ask a technical question and still get help and support.
Same for one of my cars, there's a dedicated almost cult-like following of enthusiasts for my specific car, documenting issues and repairs providing lots of help to those willing to do the work.
I recently got a Harley and can't find any equivalent online support forums. Facebook groups and Reddit are a hot mess of garbage. I post a technical question and get a canned generic response or silenced. Way too much noise and very little useful help.
