It's an old Bob Hannah race! That was cool!
Looks like he was looking over his right should to the rear while in a right hand corner. I suspect he looked forward again, saw the SUV, surprised himself, thinking he was going to hit the SUV, so he cut hard in front of it. Totally preventable accident. I hope he wasn't too busted up. At least he landed on an up hill face instead of a down hill face.

I'd like to see the GoPro footage from his point of view. And that guy in the SUV...man I'll be that freaked him out too!

That's what I first said Brenda after seeing he had a camera on his helmet. I wonder if it will show up at some point.

I am not so sure about that being better.... a downhill face would of allowed him to come to a stop slower, landing on an uphill means no rolling or sliding, just a quick stop. That had to hurt.
I too am very interested in the Helmet camera footage. That was a nasty fall. I hope he is okay.
