I haven't made any resolutions and I'm certainly not making any promises, but I haven't had a drink in 10 days.
I hereby resolve to ride more in 2026.

25 Dec 1984 I gave my Mom a Christmas gift, I told her I was done drinking until I was 60 years old. No idea where the 60 age came from, other than it probably gave me a goal point.
My parents didn’t really believe it for about the first five years thinking I would re-start. Mom’s long passed……60s come and gone……..and I’ve stuck with the greatest present I ever gave “myself". Thanks Mom.
I’m glad to see that many young people are shying away from it. To tie my comment back to motorcycles there’s no way I could have survived both riding and drinking. “That’s just me”
I’m always in awe of people that can have just one.

Happy New Year everyone! Congratulations on your resolutions! I'm hoping to be healthier and ride more this year. I plan to ride more every year and it never seems to work out, but I'm going to remain hopeful for this year.
