After pulling the Exhaust off the bike recently to change the rear tire I noticed the Screens were very close to the side of the can that connects up to the bike. I went to a friends shop where we fabricated a longer shaft for some drill bits to cut holes through the three screens. I was just hoping to get the bike to be a bit louder than stock and it seems to have worked, still sounds about the same when riding, but is definitely louder when off the bike, but not as loud as a straight pipe. We started with a Hole cutting bit that was just over an inch in diameter, but that did not work too well, so we went to a 1 inch standard bit, which worked much better.
That is not smoke coming out of the tail pipe, that is the dust from cutting the screens.
