Left the bike on the sidestand in the rain - and managed to do a nice number in the gravel on the left side fairing. Anyone with a spare for sale in Canada - or any experience with buffing the plastic?

I had some plastic bits on my FZ painted to match at this place: CYCLEMANIA ARTWORKS - Home He can do all the prep and does excellent work! I'm not sure where in Alberta you are but maybe this can be a project for winter, since when he is busy it takes time. It is worth the wait.

Yeah, a little to far for a day trip - really just looking for the factory fairing.. No real damage to the fairing, just scratched badly.. wonder if I could buff it out?

Anyone know if the plastic is solid color through and through?

Not likely, they would mass produce them all one colour (usually grey, white or black) and then paint them.
