Cruzman and I went for a ride this past Sunday. We goofed around taking action shots and riding past the video camera on Hwy 52 just past Fort Mountain State Park.

I forgot about the D011 overwriting files when the card got full so I lost the footage of Cruzman riding by, but I did take (bad) pictures...

Screw pictures, it was time to ride!

I'm trying my best NOT to. I don't think I've really been any place where the opportunity presented itself. Riding on the streets and not the track, i don't want to push it too much.

Now this is a righteous and smart comment! Save it for the track is what I often preach.

The video was COOL!!! I wish we had a lot more roads here like that and a lot less LEOs to worry about. (Not knocking the police and I am thankful we have such a presence here!!!) Maybe it is time to consider relocating to northern GA, Western SC or Eastern TN!!

That's funny. No, no, you can't relocate. We have enough of you Northerners messing up our roads. You can visit though, we like tourists dollars. When I was younger when the Northerners complained about us, we'd say "Delta's ready when you are!" :)

There were no LEOs on that road, but I'm working on video from later in the day, HWY 60, where we were forced to ride the speed limit for half of it because of LEO warnings and the LEO sighting. He lit me up with LIDAR as we passed at exactly 45 mph according to my GPS. My detector went crazy and I don't have a headphone jack on it so I know he heard it. There were no cars in front of us so it's not like it had a chance to go off before so I could turn it down. They were the only ones I saw all day, though.

Advantage of the speed limit on that part of 60...I didn't need to hit my brakes one time.

Richard Russell Parkway

This is one of my favorite roads. It was closed this winter because of cracking and debris. Some of the pullouts look a little, okay a lot, neglected but it's still a great road!

Nice roads and rides. Thanks for posting them.

I've tried the helmet view with my Go pro a few times, and it looks like I've got it 6 feet over my head...lol. Stupid fisheye:deadhorse:...lol. So I've given up now. If you come up with a mount, I'll suggest using the radiator side cover bolts. Worked well on my FZ6, although that wasn't HD.
