will not start

Returning home on cross country trip, on last night bike will not crank at hotel. Changed plugs, fuel, has a so so spark. The bike will not even hit, or try to crank. The starter is turning the engine over, but not a peep from engine. Ran great all week before, anyone else had a problem like...
