I just picked up a pair of these for the VFR after finding out Bridgestone was offering a sweet $70/pair rebate on them in October. They are getting on towards 7 years old now but Bridgestone keeps producing them and my set is from mid-2016.
I imagine these will only go on the bike come late...

Since we're so starved for new stuff here, thought I'd post up a few ride pics from last Thursday.
Kinda a spur of the day moment, we headed up north to hit Guanella Pass and Mt. Evans Rd.
Anyhoo here's a few things I thought were memory card worthy :)
like the title says what year? because im looking for a after market clutch basket and dont see any online for the fz1 so i thought it would be the same part as the r1 engine, just dont know what year r1 engine i have in my 06 fz1. thanks
What a strange thing that happened to me today. I went for a short ride to Squamish today, my second of the week. The bike was running well and everything was dandy until I developed a misfire a few km from home. I pulled over and had a look at the bike but couldn't see anything obvious to me so...

There is usually something that I am working on that doesn't really fit into the Non-FZ motorcycle category, and I'm sure that I'm not alone. I thought that I would make a place for things that you are working on in your Shop, Garage, Man-Cave, etc.
My recent examples are improvements to my...

I thought my stage 3 02 Naked Bandit 1200 was fun. Oh boy have I been missing out! I just got this 01 today with 41k on the clock paid 2100 which seems like an alright deal around this time. Guy seemed to really maintain it well, just needs a few minor things (cables). He rebuilt the front...
Hello
I can't find anything on the Internet, so I found this forum and thought why not give it a shot..
Last summer i changed my sv1000s into a 2010 fz1-n, which was completely stock except the license plate holder. Immediately after buying it I changed exhaust and mirrors into something...
Had just 300 km on bike and am noticing a buzz when I apply the front brake, stops extremely well so not concerned about that but just curious as to what it may be, a bedding issue or just normal
Cheers
Hi
Has anyone mounted a gopro under side of front fairing on a gen 2 . It looks like it could be a bit tight tight under heavy braking , thought I'd ask before wrecking the muddy or gopro
So my son came home from Florida and we set out on a quick little 4 day/3 night ride. He hasn't been on a bike in about 3 years or so since he sold his FZ1 when he moved to Fla.
Luckily, we have an extra bike in the garage that he could borrow....
We headed out Monday morning towards Gunnison...

Titanium dioxide is used to make things whiter like paint, plastic, tile, carpet, glass, fabrics ect. I did not think it was edible nor ever heard or seen it on the ingredients of food . why Dunkin donuts had this in there food is beyond me !! I dont eat at DD because there are none that are owned...
Many of you guys have probably heard of the Zip Tie Method of removing a tire from the wheel with little or no tools. So I'm up for anything at least once, so I ran out and spent a whopping $1.99 on huge zip ties at Harbor Freight and had a go at it. Well, I have to say that it may work well on...
I hope not :spank2:

John & I had originally planned to make this trip back in spring, but when our dog got sick, it was put on hold. Fall is a better time to visit the south anyway, right?
Packed up the car and loaded the bikes on the trailer for what I thought would be a grueling 20 hour drive....but it wasn't as...
