Hi. I've not long got an fz1n which has a split seat unit. I'm aware of cheap copies from China for around £95 on ebay but wondered if the R1 seat unit from similar year of 2007 would fit? Ideally I'd like to get it plastic welded but seems pricey by me!

I had my 2012 FZ1 since new. I cared for her and the parts listed here with great care, and it is now time to move on to another bike. You all are a great community, and I am offering what I am thinking are fair deals here right off the bat. Unless mentioned otherwise, these parts have been...
I have managed to put a small tear in my gel seat.
Does anyone know the best way to repair this kind of damage. I don't mind if it's a patch, anything would be better than my temporary solution.
Just got my stock seat back from a local upholstery shop. Wow what a difference compared to my hard as a rock sargent seat. Now i can drive for hours and hours and it looks amazing! Best mod to my bike yet and so cheap to do....
Well if you don't want a rock hard seat I don't suggest the Sargent seat. My butt was going numb after 30 min of riding with the stock seat and after reading about aftermarket seats on here the majority was suggesting Sargent. So I place my order for both a front and back seat for my girlfriend...
I was searching the forum for your GS Brenda and only found the initial pic. Can you please post a review, new pics, the mods you've done, etc?
A few of you know I'm looking for a new ride for my wife. All the searches for a proper sport bike for the vertically challenged all point back to...
What a strange thing that happened to me today. I went for a short ride to Squamish today, my second of the week. The bike was running well and everything was dandy until I developed a misfire a few km from home. I pulled over and had a look at the bike but couldn't see anything obvious to me so...
I had this made by Spencer from "great day to ride" (google it), truly a very well done custom seat, it doubled my ride time. It has "Supracor" Supracor - Flexible Bonded-Honeycomb Products
