The Indians, Aboriginal People, First Nations...........those guys....regarded Ainsworth as a Spiritual Place but later gold miners drove a tunnel into it and hit hot water. The U-shaped tunnel forms most of the "spring" but the mouth has been dammed up to offer a hot pool that is immediately...
It's the data transfer rate of the SDHC cards. The common Walmart cards are Class 4 and you need Class 1/Class 10 (2 different rating systems) cards.I've been there, done that..
Just a few notes for you Wild Rose Country people.
The Hope-Princeton is in the Coast Range and not the Rockies.
It should be close to Peach Season in the Okanagan and the comments about Osoyoos (Oh-Soo-Yus) are uncalled for as it may be somewhat hot but it is very dry and quite comfortable...
I suppose that is quite true but we must remember that there are countries in the world where they drive on the wrong side of the road and they believe that is the world standard.
It isn't.
If I wanted to live in France and be socialized, I would grasp at metric but I don't seek to adopt...
Words of knowledge from the twisties of the Texas Hill Country.
36/42..............couldn't agree more. My poor chicken strips are down to some pretty slim Sanity Strips at that pressure.
Some of you need to come over and break it to my 06 that her K&N filter doesn't fit. She doesn't know and I didn't have the heart to tell her because I never noticed this near universal problem when reinstalling the filter.
I'm running a Hero2 and had the same problem when operating with an LCD back but it stopped when I set the LCD settings to "shut off: never". Since then, I've upgraded to a wireless back and have no issues. I use San Disk SDHC cards.
Wow! Memories.....Anarchist was always home and the major hairpin before the descent into Rock City was a place that I could always drag my high mount, undraggable 4 into 1 pipe.
It was always Rock City to us, to give the place dignity, and I quaffed many a brew looking out over the Kettle...
Have done those roads many times but, more commonly, went north from Nelson and avoided the ferry. Used to go up to Ainsworth Hot Springs and Sandon ghost town and have memories of rolling in to Nakusp only to find the Arrow Lakes nearly dry.
Used to enjoy the run from Needles but always...
I just started riding in 1970 and have about mastered moving out from a stop. It's not as hard as racing desert and dodging sagebrush at 90 MPH or riding across Snoqualmie Pass in a snowstorm. I'm working up to making a WOT pass through King's Cross at 2AM with a $50 bill in my off hand.
So why do I want my engine spinning over at 1300 RPM when I'm sitting still? I know how to ride and don't stall the bike coming off a traffic light but maybe newbies need the extra RPM to keep from looking like newbies.
