Ok, as I'm fairly new to the world of bikes, I have a noob question. Are frame sliders a universal piece? Or do I need to source out an FZ specific set, such as the ones at cycleoneoff.com?

My current plans are to shorten the stock screen, or scoop up an aftermarket screen, and get mirror deletes with bar end mirrors, kinda hard to see past my shoulders... Any other tips for cheap/free mods? I'm new to wrenching on bikes, but I love to learn and regularly get down in the garage...
