Looking into an Aerostich, but none my size locally on craigslist. Will keep looking since I don't need it for another month or two. If you guys hear/see of one in Northern CA let me know..
Also, does anyone have any experience with the "Tour Master Centurion One-Piece Suit?" It looks like a...
yea my plan is to try and fit my leathers on underneath an old pair of snowboard pants and jacket. If that doesn't work, I was considering this rain suit. Anyone have any experience?
REV'IT! Pacific H2O Rain Suit - RevZilla
I really want an Aerostich suit but I don't see myself wearing...
Might have to commute 50 miles each way on the bike this winter. In need of some good recommendations for wet weather gear that won't break the bank but still keeps me protected in heavy traffic should my ride turn for the worse
please let me know what you guys have/recommend, price range...
That may be plan B if I can't find a buyer in the next month or two. I was moto only last winter and while CA isn't a bad place to ride in the winter, you can't tell me riding in the pouring rain and showing up to work soaked doesn't suck haha
Trust me I know...
I just got this bike a couple months back and absolutely love the thing. It does everything I need it to do, and more. I just really need a car and owning multiple motorcycles and no car isn't really working for me the way I hoped. Its great for my commute, but I need a way...
I bought this bike for commuting and it does the job no problems, but I have two motorcycles and no car. With the end of the riding season beginning to come upon us, I need to think about getting a car. Details on the bike below:
It's on Craigslist for $5,800
Forum price: $5,500
27k miles...
jealous..
been keeping an eye out myself for a 919 (0r even a 599), but cannot find a good one for the right price. It's a great bike and I'm sure you're loving it
smart man. I love my FZ1 for commuting and had a R6 in the past, but nothing touches my 600rr. Every weekend when I go to ride the Honda out in the canyons, I remember why I bought that bike and why it has outlasted many many others I've owned
So I did the install last night
you will need to lift the tank, and those precurved bends make for a little bit of a headache. There is VERY little room to get at the adjuster under the tank and patience is key. Of all the bikes I've ever worked on, this was the most work by far I've had...
So nobody on this entire forum has changed their clutch cable?
I appreciate the heads up I've gotten so far, just looking to hear from someone who has actually done this so I know first hand
26k miles. It's that damn angle right by the clutch lever, puts so much strain on the cable. I swear the amount of force needed to pull the leaver (compared to my 07 CBR600rr) is ridiculous! Anyway, the cable isn't expensive, it's just a hassle. And having to ride my CBR to work all week instead...
Hopefully there isn't much to it, just figured it couldn't hurt to ask and a quick search didn't produce any results
just got the bike (08 fz1) a month ago. Been using it to commute to and from work and last week the clutch cable started fraying on me. Since I just got the bike I don't have...
