I'm tempted to lose the plastic fender thingy on my gen II. I ride a lot in rain and slush though (Sweden), and I was wondering if a fender eliminator works all right in bad weather or if you get mud spray all over your back.

Planning to order a pair of paddock stand bobbins or cotton rolls for the holes in the swing arm of my Fz1-N. Does anyone know the diameter/thread spec for the holes? Knowing will make ordering easier. Any suggestions as to what bobbins to get?
