I used my soldering iron to heat them up. I then used a #0 phillips and tapped on the end of the screwdriver with a small hammer while I attempted to back the screw out. It was a PITA, but this trick worked.
Skullcandy Titans with Comply tips here. I use them with my Sena unit and they work great! I just set my max volume in a quiet environment and don't exceed it to compensate for the background noise. They don't offer as much attenuation as ear plugs, but are very close. I too have a Two Bros...
Not quite sure what you mean here. I have an 08 with ECunleashed flash and am about to install a PCV. Gonna load the bike up and take it straight to the dyno after I install it.
I am running the Adaptive brand mount with my Beltronics unit. Tapped in to the left front running light and am using that power to to turn on a relay. I only used a relay because I am running a phone charger as well. I believe you could get by with using just the power off the running light to...
I know these gear boxes are "clunky", but the dirty Klotz shifted 10 times smoother than a fresh Amsoil change. Not trying to start another oil thread, just putting my findings out here.
Changed my oil today after putting 2K miles on my 08 FZ1. PO had used Klotz synthetic at 2K, which was what was in it when I got it. I will say that the shifting is noticeably clunkier. I am considering going back to Klotz syn. even though I have used Amsoil for years in other bikes without issue.
That doesn't seem logical unless the hoses leaked. You are effectively doing the exact same thing whether you just plug it or use the plates. Like Hellgate said, the popping is revealed by the pipe. My pipe only has 3800miles on it. I had the AIS active at first and it popped pretty bad. Removed...
I have the ECUnleashed reflash with AIS blocked off and a 2 Bros Slip On, gutted cat etc. I still have the popping on decel. I did however install a P1X tip and it helped a lot.
Different bikes have different serial numbers on the ECU and they have to be cracked first. Once that particular build/serial number is cracked, it is a piece of cake. Sent mine to AF1 Racing and they had to send it to CA to be cracked (08 FZ1). They said they had not seen my serial number...
Ed at AF1 racing said the O2 will be useless (open loop?) I have removed mine and blocked the bung. Also the Exup can be removed and not throw a code. Should have mine back next week.
Zero Gravity has horrible product support. I had a Corsa on my 08 CBR600 and it fit like crap. They never offered to make it right. I will never buy from them again. Just my 2 cents.
Ed had told me me that they had done several FZ1's, one of which was in house. That must have been you Hellgate. Ed told me that he needed the list of mods done to the bike and that determined the flash "program". By that info I would say that no one reflash would fit all bikes. I have a 2Bros...
