Neck brace would be a great help in safety department on a motorcycle but I don't think it will be mandatory. F1 drivers have mirrors to check their 6 and need for head movement is limited. Now on a bike racing or riding I want to make sure I can turn my head as much as I can.

This is horrible how we lost great rider. On top of that Edwards and Rossi must be devastated since they were involved. I pray for them and their families for peace. Moto GP and SBK are on the front line with safety and this should not have happened.

    Your Rider Resume

I started on a small 50 cc Romet Komar :wow: That was fun ride: the chain would always fall :cuss:and it overheated so I had bucket with water and rag to cool it. Then I went on to MZ 150 Awesome bike that could have been started with nail. Last one was MZ 251 "Many dreamed of it, few got it"...

    2004 or 2005 FZ1 Advice

I just got my 04 FZ1 in August. What I had before was GSF600s and I was not sure if I want the power of full liter bike. Now I know I made the right decision. It is great for long distance or commuting. The only difference with FZ6 is that it is more fuel efficient . I get about 175 miles on one...

Johnny, This is first time I would be riding on track. What I want to make sure is that my ride is up to spec and I have everything that is required. This weekend I will do complete maintenance and see if I need to change anything. I got my ride in August and since then I only installed...

What did you do to your FZ today?

I had to lubricate cluch and choke cables. They were starting to refuse to work (a lot of riding in rain might be the problem):deadhorse: It looks like I'll be lubricating my ride on weekend from top to bottom:yes:

I think it is wrong!? but i still do it

Klurejr, Wow, you really helped me on this one. I think I will leave the lane sharing to very minimum. Thanks for info from hand book. I'm back riding for few months already and I see that knowledge of drivers is not getting better, in fact it is getting worse. I don't want to risk my life to...

I think it is wrong!? but i still do it

Thanks, The problem is that it is up to cop to decide what is right and what is wrong. I have no car pool lanes, in fact there isn't many of them in NJ. I most of the time ride no faster than 15mph. and Yes, I also feel safer on my motorcycle then in a car, you are right; less distractions.

I think it is wrong!? but i still do it

I will go straight to point: Line Splitting; I do it very often when traffic stops :scared: on the way or from work. I know, there is no law for it in NJ but Police can pull me over for other reasons. Does anybody have the same dilemma or I'm paranoid? :kuku:

What did you do to your FZ today?

Acessory Outlet Hey, This was last night but I was able to install acessory outlet on my 04 FZ1, and it works. What makes me happy is that I used a quick connect plug from a battery charger to use it when I want it. The same connection can be also used to tenderize the battery. Killed tow...
