Hi Whatevva
Here in the UK it's £8999. As supplies are short from Japan (unsurprisingly) I got the ABS version for the base model price!
Not sure what it would be in the US.
Cheers

Hi all - thanks for your kind comments about my new ride!
A small update for you..
I'm 300 miles in now so starting to open her up a bit more. Those Akras really do sound sweet. Really deep and bassy. I got them fitted by the dealer before delivery and he is desperate to get her on the...
Just wanted to say that I've just done the unthinkable and traded in my FZ1 for the new Kawasaki Z1000SX.
Whilst I wasn't the most active poster, this is one of the most useful and friendly forums out there! So I'd like to thank you all for a great forum. I couldn't have "gutted the cat" and...
Thanks all for your kind comments!
@DenArnold - sounds like a great idea! We normally go in the middle of August but the Nurburgring "Tourist Rides" dates for then are useless. So it's looking like we might have to go in May instead to get a couple of full days there.
Cheers!

Hi all
Video of our latest trip across the English Channel to see what our Continental cousins are up to, including a trackday at Spa and a bit of the Nurburgring.
Sadly the rain got the better of us at the Ring.
Oh - and some footage of the great B500 bust up at the very end where a...
Hey Timebomb
At today's exchange rate 40 pounds is 58 dollars. Royal Mail's Airsure service (trackable but not signed for) will cost about 8 pounds so how does a nice round 70 dollars sound?
If you prefer, pay the airfare and I'll bring it myself! It's no problem really...

Giving my brothers on FZ1 Forum the chance to own it before it goes on ebay
Any interest?
Cheers!

Homework done! Thanks very much!
Being a bit of a swot and having a week off work (and going nowhere anyway thanks to a certain volcano) can I ask for a heads up on the next assignment?
If not, it's AIS blockoff time...
Cheers!
Simon
Done!
Will have to play about with the settings on the clutch lever for perfect positioning but even without a test ride I love them already. They are perfect for a two finger operator like me!
Cheers!

Oh - and sorry for the rubbish photography.
I use a Kriega tailpack and it gets a 5 star rating from me!
A properly designed and adjustable backpack is fine but I prefer to put the weight on the bike - not on me. I'm carrying enough weight already!!!
UK based Powerbronze do a full range of bits and pieces....
Powerbronze UK International - BELLY PAN - YAMAHA FZ-1/FZ1000 FAZER 06-09
Here's a pic of my FZ1 with bellypan. You might be able to make out the hugger, too!
Hope that helps!
Cheers!
