I have dropped the price to 4k. It is pretty much as low as I can go. Sorry to be bumping this thread so much, but it has to go unfortunately.
Thanks,
Dana
I think NY is right, just excising youthful demons . . . something most of us got out of our system in our late teens.
Can't say I never did anything this stupid. He's gonna have to cool it though if he wants to have a long career.
I am going to agree with the post made just a few posts back and say that I really think he wanted to ride for an Italian team.
Rossi's riding and ability to translate what is happening with the bike to Jeremy Burgess is what has made them an almost unstoppable team over the years.
The last time I was pulled over for speeding I was posting over 3 digits, fist pumping as I was passing a friend in his car on the way to work. His face went from what the hell is he doing, to I can't stop laughing as he noticed the cop light me up.
Funny story, but definitely was not worth...
Oh my gosh I have wanted to set mine up like that for so long. Commuting at 80 mph 20 miles each way to work with a massive backpack is like having a midget trying to pull you off the bike constantly.
Enjoy it!!
Thanks for the support everyone! I really, really like my bike, but like most of you have said, I have other things to focus on right now.
I will be posting it to Cycle Trader for a slightly higher price, but obviously welcome those who are already FZ1 fans!
Just to be sure TwItch, you are...
Yeah, it's been a really tough decision. He's already 19 months, and my wife has been very supportive, but between riding SoCal's freeways everyday tired, and not being able to cart him around when she is working the decision has become pretty apparent.
Updating price now. Thanks!
SOLD!
I am in the unfortunate position of selling my FZ1.
Basically the issue is that the bike is my only means of transportation, and since I have a baby now, I need to have a car in order to transport said child.
Here are the basics:
2007 Raven (Black) FZ1
30,000 Miles (just under)...
Wanted to post an update to this problem I was having in case someone else encounters it in the future. . .
So after 3-4 trips to various Yamaha mechanics the issue was solved after it became worse . . . the problem, a failed spark plug coil basically rendering one of the cylinders dead...
Thanks for the welcome. Really enjoying the site, and the information contained within.
Other than a tank pad my bike is just about bone stock. Currently has 24,820 miles on it.
The problem feels very much like vapor lock, but the bike has been gone through extensively, and no such thing...
