is it normal after riding 30 mins that when i look at oil level window it seems there are tiny bubbles on the top of oil. After an hour i checked and it was normal level and an with out bubbles. Could it be after 960 mile through twistys its breaking down? I haven't looked at the brakes yet...

I will clean my chain. No more excuses. I was more interested in when a clutch is going bad or needs to be adjusted. Also if i give it a full twist of throttle in first gear should my wheel come up? My sv650 did, but i figured all the power on fz1 was at the top and not the bottom.

Well as far as oiling the chain, i bought the bike from a guy who lived by the sea it has a lot of surface rust on it. I was going to let it go and just replace it and start fresh after i deemed it wasn't any good. I did have it lubed when i got the tires replaced 300 mile ago. So Im not one...

Chain doesn't seem to oily. Or i havent oiled it since i got it 3k miles ago.

Yes the piece that i need is the tank top, the sides aren't really an issue, If there are already scuffs from the previous owner do i polish them out before applying them? i wouldn't want to put them over an already scratched surface.

after reading about the tank slapper film, i think i need something more like Scotchgard Paint Protection Film, i use a magnetic tank bag and on my last bike it left some scratches down to the under coat, were can i by ab 8.5x11 sheet of this stuff?
