I don't have any PMs but maybe that's due to my post count. I have only posted 12 times on this site, but I've been a member for a few years. I still have the rotor in my pic. If you're interested just email me. jason.fawbush (at) gmail dot c0m
I took the BRC and really enjoyed it. I had never been on a bike, street or dirt, until I took the class. I was able to get a 100 on the written and riding tests, but even then I waited over a year to get my first street bike. I was not the typical student, though. I had read David Hough's...
I thought it was a pain shipping form the USA to Canada via USPS. I feel your pain. I would buy thosuands of dollars of goods from some manufacturers in Australia, but the shipping nightmares make the risk too high. In particular I really like the Edge Products buggy kits and components. :(
I haven't checked it, but I will now. The bike only has <7,000 miles and is always kept in the garage. It's pretty clean, but I'll check it regardless. Thanks.
I've got a rear rotor that's in the picture below. It's off a bike that was involved in a front end collision. If it looks good to you I can send it to you for $10 plus shipping. If I can fit it in a flat rate box or package I can give you an exact number on the shipping...
I get this code when I turn the ingition on and the sidestand is down. If I put up the sidestand and then back down, it goes away and doesn't come back until the next time I cold start the bike. I went from a stock bike to a full exhaust, PC III, PC IM, FCE, air box mod, sub throttle plates...
I have my stock exhaust in the basement so that I have the option of returning the bike to stock when I sell it. Most buyers are probably going to be people who dropped their bike or wrecked the right side and want to fix it up.
I'm about to replace the radiator on my 2009 FZ1. A nice projectile on the interstates made a large hole in it this morning. Is 70/30 or 50/50 water/antifreeze the right mix?
I'm also going to go buy some gutter guard and make the radiator screen that I should have over the winter. :frown:
Hello all. I'm in Kentucky, USA. I owned an 08 FZ1 for a year, but I sold it. I realized the error of my ways and bought an 09 last week. I ride it to work and on fun rides, and I ride my WR250R whenever there is a chance I might end up in the grass or dirt.
