    I flushed for at least 45min. the water was crystal clear by the time I was done. Drained then put in distilled water and a bit of antifreeze. Like I said, I'll reassess when I drain the radiator.

    I was disgusted when I drained it, and very surprised that the bike didn't run hot at all. Ever. I doubt that there was enough antifreeze in the system and that decent water was used. New thermowax should be here in 2 weeks, I may flush the system again, depending on the colour of the radiator...

    Howdy all Stu here from South Africa. Been riding for about 15 years, mostly smaller cc bikes. My 08 FZ1 is my first litre class bike. Had her for 7 months now and loving every ride. I used to commute a lot, but now I'm more of a weekend warrior as I don't need to commute anymore...
