    Chain Cleaning & Oiling .

Hey Old School. I ain't no smerty scintist but you're on the nut. I fought many times trying to adjust a cold chain. Just to have it way too tight and damn near smokin' hot on my next ride. Only adjust your chain when warm. Also it only makes sense that a hot chain will suck in lubricants...

    Another quick question before buying

The buzz about octane Maybe that buzzing in the butt is caused by natural resonances and reverberations attributed to a half empty tank? God's (and Japan's) way of telling us to take a petrol break. Sorry, thinking too much. A more important thought re octane rating: The owner's manual...

    Chain Cleaning & Oiling .

Kerosene is King Kerosene is recommended by the manufacturers. That works for me. What I love most is that it is so cheap. I find with other cleaners I skimped a bit cause they were so expensive if used often. Kerosene on the other hand, I apply liberally with a small paintbrush and let soak...

    New member welcome thread...

Hello from Canada Hi All, Great Site. I'm not so lucky to own an FZ1... yet. My best riding Buddy has one (I might steal his some day). My current ride is a good old SV650S. Great little bike but not an FZ1 definitely. I live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Laid off in the great recession of 2008...
